Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 29, 2026
This policy describes how Clio Photo (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles personal information when you join our waitlist at this website. If you have questions, contact us using the email below.
Information we collect
When you submit the waitlist form, we collect your email address and related technical data that our hosting service processes automatically when you use the site (for example, IP address and browser type in standard server logs), as needed to operate the service and protect against abuse.
How we use your email
We use the email address you provide to:
- Send you product updates, announcements, and marketing communications about Clio Photo as we develop and launch the product (for example, early access, launch news, and related offers);
- Operate and improve the waitlist and our communications; and
- Comply with law and protect the security and integrity of our services.
By submitting your email on this page, you acknowledge that we may use it for these purposes. You can stop receiving promotional emails at any time using the unsubscribe link included in those messages, as described under “Email communications” below.
Service providers
We use trusted vendors to help run this site and our email list. In particular, waitlist signups are processed through our servers and stored with MailerLite (or a comparable email service we may use in the future) so we can send the communications described above. These providers process information on our instructions and are not permitted to use your email for their own marketing.
This site is hosted on Cloudflare, which may process technical data in connection with delivering the site and protecting it from abuse.
Sale or sharing of personal information
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your email for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Retention
We keep your email address for as long as needed to send the communications you signed up for and to operate the waitlist, unless a longer period is required by law. If you unsubscribe from marketing emails or ask us to delete your information, we will retain only what we need for legal, security, or operational purposes (for example, a suppressed-email record so we do not contact you again).
Email communications (CAN-SPAM)
Commercial emails we send will identify Clio Photo as the sender, include a clear way to opt out of future marketing messages (typically an “unsubscribe” link), and otherwise follow the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act and applicable rules. Opt-out requests are processed promptly; you may still receive non-promotional messages where permitted by law (for example, a single transactional confirmation).
Your privacy rights (U.S.)
Depending on where you live, state laws may give you rights to access, delete, or correct certain personal information, or to opt out of certain processing. If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the CPRA, including the right to request access to or deletion of personal information we hold about you, subject to exceptions. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
To submit a privacy request, email us at the address below. We may need to verify your request before responding.
Children
This waitlist is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes may be communicated by email or a notice on this site where appropriate.
